We’re really picking up steam as we brought in some extraordinarily talented people this week, including,
Poynter picked up on our hires and you can read about it here.
The biggest news is that we’ve hired veteran journalist Barbara Martinez to be our managing editor. You can read what Politico had to say about her when they hired her to be their deputy managing editor. But we’ll save you the click: “Barbara E. Martinez recently returned to Washington after almost three years working in Europe’s capital, Brussels. While there, she guided bicycle tours in the French countryside, worked as a freelance editor and supported the competition practice of Cleary Gottlieb Steen and Hamilton LLP.
“Martinez cut her journalistic teeth as a writer and editor for the Harvard Crimson before joining The Washington Post, where she worked as Lloyd Grove’s assistant on the “Reliable Source” column, covered the town of Leesburg for the Metro section and learned the business of the news business as a budget analyst.”

David Underhill is my nephew, and I am already a gp fan.
What you are doing is important, and might I think be world changing.
Thank You.
I’m sure there are other retired readers who would like to have a “text only” version available. For me, the pictures are a distraction, and I still have problems noodling around the stories.
I expect you have other more important work, but pass this along, just in case.
I enjoyed CMS’ interview with the French Consul today. I’ve lived in France, and been a consular diplomat for a couple years in Barbados. Good Show
cheers, thanks
